Legislature Okays 12 Hour DUI Impound

The Washington Legislature has been very busy lately - and as of this morning - have added yet another new DUI wrinkle: Hailey's Law. Which requires police to impount any DUI driven car for 12 hours.

You read that right. "Requires" does not give the police discretion here. This is MANDATORY. If you are arrested for DUI - your car WILL be impounded.
